Tech N9ne lays down the law on some bars from Machine Gun Kelly, Tekashi 6ix9ine & more.

Tech N9ne is a veteran in the game, and has probably written more lyrics than your favorite rapper has forgotten. At once an outsider and a mainstay, Tech has gone from independent rapper to a widely recognized name. You’d be hard pressed to find a rapper he hasn’t collaborated with; he might actually be the first to collaborate with Lil Wayne , Andre 3000 ,

Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem. Today, the Strange Music mogul is the latest to join the ranks of BET’s “Rate The Bars,” providing his own unique brand of insight and experience to the lighthearted game.

From the jump, one thing becomes clear. Tech values authenticity, and if you’re rapping about it, you better be living it. Such is his verdict upon receiving some bars from Freddie Gibbs ‘ “Scottie Pippen.” “He sound like he hard,” says Tech. “Hopefully whoever this is is actually living this and not faking.” Next up is Raekwon, whose ability to get “his dick sucked whenever he pleases” seems to amuse Tech. In fact, that simple sexually charged bar is enough to earn a five star rating from Tecca Nina.

He goes on to hit Snow Tha Product’s bars with the maligned one star; to add insult to injury, the bars stem from her verse on his upcoming Planets album. As per usual, “Rate The Bars” leads to some hilarity, and it’s always cool to see rappers analyzing their peers. He also manages to makes MGK sound like the biggest gangster of all time.
