Three “Yahoo Boys”, met their dead end on Monday after their failed attempt to use their girlfriends for money rituals as they got arrested by the Police detectives at the Delta State Police Command Asaba.

Report has it that the suspected ritualists had on Monday attempted to Use their girlfriends for alleged money rituals when the arm of law caught them after their move in the eraly hours failed. It was reported that the suspected ritualists liv within Ifant Jesus area Asaba.

The Commissioner of police in the state, Mustafa Muhammad who confirmed the arrest of the suspects on Saturday, said “the suspects have been going out with the girls before the failed attempt on Monday. He made it clear that the girls do collect money fro  the suspects on a regular basis until Monday when they were told to drink water in pots. One of the girls refused an put a call through to her brother at the state CID and gave the ouse description. After which police were mobilized which led to the arrest of the suspects”.

The suspects’ names were given as Tochukwu Tobi, 35, Ikedihua Emeka, 34, and Dennis Sylvia 35.

Furter reports stated that the suspects revealed useful statements to the police, and were being detained for further investigation as they will arraigned in court on completion of investigation.

The state Commissioner of Police said; “The police will leave no stone unturned to ensure that all the Yahoo boys are brought to book, the police have enough reports on the Yahoo boys and we are closing in on them, very soon it will be history in the state,”.

It was further gathered that in the recent times major cities like Asaba, Warri, Ughelli, Ibusa, Okpanam and Kwale towns had been invaded by Yahoo Yahoo Boys.

One of the girls, who spoke to journalists in Asaba on Condition of anonymity said “I have been dating one of the suspects for three years now before the bubble burst.

“He used to give me money, and he told me that he is a business man unknown to me that he is a Yahoo, Yahoo man.”
